Funny Obama didn't care about immigration reform when Bush wanted it and Republicians like McCain were willing to back it. All the Dems had to do was throw their support behind it - but that would have given the credit to the Republicians and that will not do.

This isn't the end of it. Food prices are what drove the riots and food prices will be the undoing of the Eqyptian "democrats". It will take a long time to fix the Eqyptian economy and one questions whether the rioters are willing to wait that long.

Also rioting does not equal democracy - Democracy only works if you accept losing and are willing to work with the winners and are ok with waiting your turn later.

Unfortunately, US aid is viewed largely as a bribe to keep the Egyptians from attacking the Israelis - Once the government is over thrown - the Muslim Brotherhood will move in, their economy will go in the toilet and Gaza border will be re-opened.

Real question - which one is at fault - the airline for having FAA approved seats or the child seat manufacturer for making a FAA approved seat. I doubt United "customized" the plane.
